The purpose of this distro is to make zines about reproductive health, self-care, consent, intimate partner abuse, queer politics and feminist theory widely available. It’s also a resource for folks who need information and support. We need to take our bodies and our lives back into our own hands–only we can free ourselves! This distro is here in the spirit of fierce feminist resistance and self-determination.
Zine titles are listed below in alphabetical order under six different topics. More detailed descriptions of zines are available in the Catalog section in the side bar. Unless otherwise noted, zines are 1/2 size. Prices are listed both below and in catalog. To order zines, send me an email with a list of what you want. I will send you back a total, you enter that amount by hitting the paypal donate key below, and your zines will be shipped in one to two weeks. I will send you an email confirmation when the zines go out. There is a snail mail option and printable order form here.
This distro has been inactive for some time due to my own health and personal struggles. I am excited to engage with this distro again, but it’s scope is limited–orders at this time may not consist of more than ten zines at a time. The prices listed are to cover shipping, transportation and printing costs (I live in rural Maine, over 20 miles from the nearest printers) and not for personal profit–most of these zines are explicitly anti-copyright, and can and should be redistributed by you at will. Knowledge is to be shared, not hoarded. I often give away many of these titles for free at activist events or conferences; let me know if you want me to bring the distro to your town or event. Bulk and wholesale orders to infoshops or educational institutions can be negotiated on a case by case basis. Zines for prisoners are free. Orders can be sent to mimizinedistro@gmail.com. Thanks for your patience, interest, and spirit of resistance.
